What will you do?
Learners will be expected to join the webinar. Keep all the materials ready, beside you.
Basic Techniques
Day 1
11am - 12pm
What will you do?
Through practical and theoretical demonstration , you will learn to create easy patterns of designs by understanding colour theory which you will be using while making your handpainted dupatta.
Motif Development
Day 1
1pm - 2pm
What will you do?
Learners will learn how to make simple motifs of kalamkari and madhubani and how to trace those on fabric using carbon paper .
Introduction

What will you do?
Learners will have a small theory session about types of various handaintings , materials and tools needed for the workshop and fabric preparation techniques

Have your lunch before you start your power packed practical session
Doubt Clarification

What will you do?
We will now use this time to clarify any doubts we may have for day 1 and you will be given Homework for another day.

Now you can go home and revise whatever you have learnt today and dont forget to do your homework for another day
Day 2
Review and Discussion

What will you do?
We will use this time to revise everything we had done in day 1 and will be reviewing checking homework.
Painting the Dupatta
Day 2

What will you do?
Learners will kick off their artistic journey by laying down the vibrant base on their fabric, using the designs they’ve carefully traced.

Do I need any prior experience in painting or fabric art to join this workshop?
No prior experience is necessary! Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, all you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Will the workshop be recorded?
Yes, the workshop will be recorded. If you can’t attend live, you’ll still have access to the recordings to revisit the sessions at your convenience.
3.
In which language will the workshop be conducted?
The workshop will be primarily conducted in Hindi, with instructors available to assist participants who may require translation or clarification.

Is there any support available if I have questions during the workshop?
Absolutely! There will be dedicated time for Q&A during each session, and you’ll also have access to a support chat or email for any questions that arise between sessions.
5.
Will there be a certificate of completion?
Yes, participants who complete the workshop will receive a certificate of completion from Govt. of India to commemorate their newly acquired skills in Kalamkari and Madhubani handpainting.
