Your 2 day journey

Learner Registration

Day 1

9 am - 10am

What will you do?

Learners will be expected to arrive at the venue and take register at the desk. They will have to collect their registration cards, kits and assemble at the venue. 

Measurements

Day 1

11am - 12pm

What will you do?

Now you will get down and learn how to take measurements of your customers - Torso, Bottom and Arms

Introduction to Pattern Making

Day 1

10am - 11am

What will you do?

Learners will have a small theory session about introduction to Pattern Making, twhy do we need it and what all tools are required?

Basic Pattern - Top

Day 1

12pm - 1:30pm

What will you do?

Here you will learn how to make bodice. Understand the fundamental structure of a bodice, including the front and back pieces.

Lunch

Day 1

1:30pm - 2:30pm

What will you do?

Here you will get along with everyone and have an amazing lunch before you start your power packed practical session

Basic Pattern - Bottom

Day 1

2:30pm - 3:30pm

What will you do?

Here you will learn to create the bottom and understand the fundamental structure of pants including front and back pieces.

Correction & Adjustments

Day 1

4:30pm - 5:30pm

What will you do?

As now we have learnt all the basic Patterns, so here you will learn how to make alterations in patterns and adjust them for a perfect fit.

Basic Pattern - Sleeve

Day 1

3:30pm - 4:30pm

What will you do?

Learn how to build a basic sleeves pattern including accurate measurements and master fitting and assembly to create perfectly Tailors leave for any garment.

Doubt Clarifications

Day 1

5:30pm - 6pm

What will you do?

We will now use this time to clarify any doubts we may have for day 1 and also interact with our trainers as well as other learners with chai & coffee

End of Day 1

What will you do?

Now you can go home and revise whatever you have learnt today from theory of fashion to practical pattern making, measurements, etc. 

Day 2

Top Designs

Day 2

10am - 12pm

What will you do?

As you have already learnt the basic patterns so now you will learn different other advance patterns like princess pattern kurti making and shrug/jacket.

Trouser Development

Day 2

12pm - 2pm

What will you do?

You will now learn about multiple bottom development that is Salwar, Sharara, Plazo and Gharara.

Lunch

Day 2

2pm - 3pm

What will you do?

Here you will get along with everyone and have an amazing lunch before you start your power packed practical session

Sleeve Variations

Day 2

3p - 5pm

What will you do?

Once you finish your stitching of kali lehanga, you will now get going with the stitching of Tiered Lehanga

Doubt Clarifications

Day 2

5pm - 6pm

What will you do?

We will now use this time to clarify any doubts we may have for day 2 and also interact with our trainers as well as other learners with chai & coffee

Who all can participate in the workshop?

Everyone can participate, as long as you have a passion for learning! The workshop is open to beginners, fashion students, and professionals looking to enhance their skills in pattern making and cutting.

2.

What materials and tools do I need to bring?

For the offline workshop, all materials and tools will be provided in a comprehensive kit. For the online workshop, you will receive a kit with all necessary tools to draft patterns, which will be sent to you upon registration.

3.

In which language will the workshop be conducted?

The workshop will be primarily conducted in Hindi, with instructors available to assist participants who may require translation or clarification.

4.

Do I need any prior experience to attend?

No prior experience is necessary. The workshop is designed to accommodate all skill levels.

5.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes, all participants will receive a certificate of completion from the Government of India at the end of the workshop.

6.

Will I get any notes for the workshop?

Yes you will be provided with theory notes with all the necessary information that is being taught.

7.

What if I miss a session?

If you miss a session, you will still receive the recording of the complete workshop. Additionally, there will be a live session with your expert mentor 1 month after the workshop to address any questions or doubts.

Will there will be instructors available if I get stuck during the learning process?

Yes! Not just Ritvik but you will be having access to 3+ instructors to help you with the process

9.

What techniques will be taught during the workshop?

The workshop covers a range of techniques, like taking accurate measurements, tracing, pattern draftting for sleeveves tops and bottoms and also drafting variations from the basic pattern.
