Learner Registration

Day 1

What will you do?

Learners will be expected to join the webinar. Keep all the materials ready beside you.

Introduction of Basic stitches

Day 1

12pm - 1pm

What will you do?

Through practical and theorectical demonstration, you will learn how to fix fabric in embroidery frame, prepare material and you learn to handle needle by doing some exercise.

Making of basic stitches

Day 1

1:30pm - 3:30pm

What will you do?

Learners will have detailde practical demonstration of basic stitches where they will learn to create 8 differents types of basic zardozi stitches.

Introduction & History

Day 1

11am - 12pm

What will you do?

Learners will have a small theory session about what is zardozi, its history, process, materials and tools needed for the workshop.

Lunch

Day 1

1pm - 1:30pm

What will you do?

Have your lunch before you start your power packed practical session

Use of different material

Day 1

3:30pm - 5:30pm

What will you do?

With use of plain stitching process now learners will learn to use different types of
materials and how they can use those material to enhance the design.

Doubt Clarification

Day 1

5:30pm - 6pm

What will you do?

We will now use this time to clarify any doubts we may have for the day and you will be
given homework for another day.

End of Day 1

What will you do?

Now you can go home and revise whatever you have learnt today and dont forget to do your homework for another day

Day 2

Review and Discussion

Learners will be expected to join the webinar. Keep all the materials ready beside you and we will have revision disscusion about previous session.

Have your lunch before you start your power packed practical session

Motif design selection and development

Day 2

11:30am - 1pm

What will you do?

Learners will have a session about motif design selection and making, what is khaka,
how to make khaka and tracing the motif on fabric.

Motif embroidery

Day 2

1:30pm - 5:30pm

What will you do?

Through practical demonstration, you will learn how fill the motif design with different materials by understaning color theory and how you can place the design according to the garment.

Doubt Clarification

Day 2

5:30pm - 6pm

What will you do?

We will now use this time to clarify any doubts and we will have disscusion about how you can use this skill in your future to earn.

End of Day 2

Your design is ready—now it's time to unleash your creativity and bring your artwork to life!

Who can join this workshop?

No prior experience is required. The workshop is beginner-friendly and will guide you step by step through the stitches and techniques.

The workshop will be primarily conducted in Hindi, with instructors available to assist participants who may require translation or clarification.

Is there any support available if I have questions during the workshop?

Absolutely! There will be dedicated time for Q&A during each session, and you’ll also have access to a support chat or email for any questions that arise between sessions.

Will there be a certificate of completion?

Yes, participants who complete the workshop will receive a certificate of completion from Govt. of India to commemorate their newly acquired skills in Zardozi Surface Ornamentation.
