No — the program starts from the basics, so beginners can join directly — sewing basics are part of the course. If you have done the masterclass, that helps, but it isn’t required.

Muslin, taffeta, brocade, sateen, net, denim, interfacing and boning; an L scale, hip curve, grid scale, pattern master, notcher, tracing wheel, tape, pattern paper, tracing paper, butter paper, tailor’s chalk and a fabric marker; and scissors, a seam ripper, a thread cutter, zippers, hook & eye, elastic and ribbon lacing.
